Warren County presented memorial signs to the family of conservation officer Stephen Raymond during its September 11, 2026, remembrance at the Municipal Center. The county's account connected the tribute with the Route 35 bridge over the Northway at Exit 23 in Lake George, which state lawmakers had approved naming in his memory.

Raymond lived in Thurman and spent much of his career in Warren County. The county reported that he died from cancer attributed to his work at Ground Zero following the 2001 attacks. His relatives received replicas of signs intended for the route. The report documents the presentation; it does not establish the date on which every roadside sign was installed.
