County notice set out June 13 hazardous waste collection

Warren County opened registration on May 4 for a household hazardous waste collection scheduled for June 13, 2026, at Queensbury Highway Department, 742 Bay Road. The county DPW notice described a free service for county residents, with registration required and capacity limited.

The announcement listed household chemicals and paints among the materials the event would accept, while specifying exclusions including asbestos, automotive oil and pharmaceuticals. Its registration deadline was June 10. The source page now explicitly states that registration has closed. This past collection notice should therefore not be used as an instruction to take material to Bay Road today. Current collection arrangements belong with the county's waste information service.
